| Custom Drapery has evolved over the years. While we still do the traditional type of Drapery on a traverse rod for our customers, we also do custom work using rings or tabs with a decorative rod. This is a little more difficult to operate than a normal drapery traverse rod, but the look is popular with customers that are seeking a more casual use of fabric on their windows.
The revived popularity of Custom Drapery is due in part to the wide variety of Hardware available today. It's just not wood poles; but metal and unique faux finishes. Finials range from the very simple to hand blown glass framed in metal. Drapery can now fit decorating styles ranging from the Traditional to the Retro-Contemporary. |
